Fall/WINTER choral program
Do you want to have more choral fun?
2007 Fall/ 2008Winter Choir Program
The Northland Youth Music Program would like to invite choral students to
participate in an extracurricular SATB choir program.
Any 9-12th grade choral student may audition. The N.Y.M.P. would like to invite
students to take part in our dynamic fall choir program. Students will be
introduced to multiple forms of vocal music including gospel, jazz,
contemporary, and classical.
Instructors
Members of the N.Y.M.P. choral staff including Rob Calhoon and Bree Taylor will
be teaching.
Auditions
Students will be picked through auditions which will be held during September.
Vocal range and sight reading abilities will be assessed. Auditions will be held
from 10:00am until Noon

Tuition
Tuition for the fall choir program is $85 to be paid by the first practice
unless other arrangements have been made prior to the start of the program. For

Rehearsal schedule
Fall rehearsal dates are
Oct 6 and 20
November 3 and 17
December 1 and 15
January 12 with a final concert January 19th
locations of practices to be announced
Winter program dates to be announced in December
The N.Y.M.P. requests that students register at least two weeks prior to
auditioning.
