Summer band program students will have the
opportunity to play music in a variety of settings including: concert band,
small ensemble, jazz big band, and jazz combo.
N.Y.M.P. holds classes in music history, music theory, jazz history, and
jazz improvisation, private lessons, and basic musicianship class.

THE N.Y.M.P. received $2500 from
the WAB towards the 2008
summer music education program
Dates for the 2009
will be available by the
end of September
Students are invited to take part in evening
activities held each evening at 6 p.m. including the Wednesday night cook out
and jam session which parents are welcome to attend.
The N.Y.M.P. holds the summer program on the
University of Wisconsin - Superior campus.
