NORTHLAND YOUTH MUSIC PROGRAM  "the best kept secret in the Northland" a 501c3 program

 

Summer band program students will have the opportunity to play music in a variety of settings including: concert band, small ensemble, jazz big band, and jazz combo.
N.Y.M.P. holds classes in music history, music theory, jazz history, and jazz improvisation, private lessons, and basic musicianship class.

THE N.Y.M.P. received $2500 from

the WAB  towards the 2008

summer music education program

             will be available by the

Students are invited to take part in evening activities held each evening at 6 p.m. including the Wednesday night cook out and jam session which parents are welcome to attend. 
 

The N.Y.M.P. holds the summer program on the

University of Wisconsin - Superior campus

Starting in 2008, the jazz program percussion students will be placed in either one of the jazz bands or in the

drum set camp
